Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder @ Shiplog
Equity: 25+ % founding stake
Location: London/Paris/Berlin/SF/NYC/Tel Aviv (EU timezone overlap required).
Stage: 2 key design partners, MVP shipped out, interviewed 40+ companies and validated founder market fit + pain points, and 10+ additional companies on waitlist (including unicorns and YC startups).
Mission: Build an AI-native operating system that changes how companies align communications and decision-making across Product, Engineering, and GTM.
THE WORLD WE'RE BUILDING
Every SaaS company will know exactly which features drive revenue.
Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering will operate from the same source of truth.
Engineering time will be allocated based on revenue impact, not opinions, internal politics, or loudest voices.
This is how every serious B2B company will operate in 10 years.
We're not guessing the future. We're building it.
THE PROBLEM
Today, most SaaS companies are flying blind. Engineering is shipping at 10X thanks to Cursor, but GTM teams can't cope up.
Roughly 70% of engineering time is spent building features that do not meaningfully drive revenue. Product teams prioritize based on intuition, roadmap rituals, or internal narratives. GTM teams sell based on what resonates in conversations, not on what engineering actually ships. The two functions operate in parallel universes.
The result is massive inefficiency.
More than $10B is lost every year across 50,000+ SaaS companies because what gets built and what gets sold are fundamentally misaligned.
This is not a tooling problem. It is a systems problem.
WHAT WE'RE BUILDING
We are building the intelligence layer that connects what Product ships to what GTM sells.
Shiplog connects product development systems (GitHub, Jira, Linear) with go-to-market systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong) in real time, with AI at the core.
For the first time, product decisions are grounded in actual revenue data. GTM teams can see exactly which features close deals, accelerate pipelines, and reduce churn. Engineering leaders can allocate time based on measurable business impact.
This is not another analytics dashboard. This is the shared source of truth between Product, Engineering, and GTM.
We are not building a tool. We are defining a new category.
THE EXPANSION VISION
Shiplog starts with B2B SaaS. But the problem is universal.
Agencies: Creative and dev agencies build products for clients with zero visibility into what drives client revenue. Shiplog becomes the intelligence layer between agency output and client business outcomes.
B2C Software Companies: Consumer apps ship features based on engagement metrics, not revenue impact. Shiplog connects product development to monetization, retention, and LTV across millions of users.
Every Company Building Software: Any organization that builds and sells software faces the same misalignment. Product builds. GTM sells. The two never sync. Shiplog fixes that.
We're not just aligning Product and GTM. We're changing how companies decide what to build.
Today, companies optimize locally. Product optimizes for velocity. Sales optimizes for quota. Engineering optimizes for delivery. Leadership optimizes for narratives. Everyone has dashboards, but no one has truth.
In the future, companies will optimize globally. Every roadmap item will have a measurable revenue hypothesis. Every feature will be tied to deals, retention, and expansion. Every engineering hour will be treated like capital allocation.
Shiplog becomes the system of record for value creation in software companies.
Just as Salesforce became the system of record for revenue and GitHub became the system of record for code, Shiplog becomes the system of record for understanding how code turns into revenue.
This is not just about SaaS. This is about how modern organizations make decisions.
We are building the operating layer for revenue-driven product development. The bridge between creation and monetization. The missing nervous system of modern companies.
And once that system exists, there is no going back.
THE TEAM
The CEO is a second-time founder who built an ed-tech product to over 10,000 users at 17, managed seven-figure pipelines, and shipped the Shiplog MVP in the hands of a customer within 40 days. Been in GTM for 6 years, 4 years with a laser focus on B2B and AI products.
The founding engineering team comes from unicorns companies. Are ex-founders too.
Advisors have built and exited billion-dollar businesses (Google, SquareYards, YC).
We move at 10x speed.
We hire the top 1%.
We build in public.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will own the entire technical vision and execution of the company.
Months 0–3: Advance the core product with first customers. Build the AI-powered intelligence layer that connects GitHub/Jira/Linear to Salesforce/HubSpot/Gong. Make architectural decisions that will scale to 10,000+ customers.
Months 4–6: Help close the first 20 paying customers at $40K ACV. Prove product-market fit on the technical side. Build the features that turn design partners into revenue.
Months 7–12: Take the company to $1M ARR. Build and lead the founding engineering team (hire 3–5 world-class engineers). Set the technical foundation for $100M ARR.
Year 2: Scale the engineering team to 20+ people. Co-lead the Series A fundraise. Expand the product to agencies and B2C software companies. Build the platform that becomes the system of record for how code turns into revenue.
You are not just the CTO.
You are the co-founder who builds the product, leads brilliant engineers, raises capital, and sets the technical vision for the next decade.
CTO REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
TECHNICAL MASTERY
Full-Stack Expertise
You are fluent across the entire stack. Modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, Next.js). Backend systems (Node.js, Python, Go). Databases (Postgres, MongoDB). Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP). CI/CD pipelines. Docker, Kubernetes. You can architect, build, and deploy production systems end to end.
AI/LLM Production Experience
You have built real AI systems in production, not demos. You understand LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic), embeddings, RAG workflows, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and when to use AI versus when not to. You have shipped AI-powered products that customers pay for.
B2B Integration Depth
You have shipped serious B2B integrations. You understand OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, data pipelines, API versioning, enterprise-grade reliability, and 99.9% uptime. You have worked with Salesforce, GitHub, Jira, Linear, HubSpot, Gong, or similar enterprise platforms.
Scale Experience
You have shipped production software at scale. 100K+ users, $5M+ ARR, or products that were acquired. You understand what it takes to build systems that handle millions of API calls, terabytes of data, and thousands of customers.
PROVEN TRACK RECORD
Founding Engineer or Technical Co-Founder
You have been a founding engineer or technical co-founder at a funded AI or B2B SaaS startup. You have built products from zero to scale. You understand what it takes to go from MVP to $10M+ ARR.
Team Leadership
You have built and led engineering teams of 5+ people. You have hired engineers better than you. You have managed technical roadmaps, sprint planning, code reviews, and team culture. You will scale this team to 20+ by Year 2.
Capital and Growth
You have raised capital or worked directly with VCs. You understand what investors look for in technical founders. You will co-lead our Seed round in a few months. You know how to tell the technical story that raises $4M+.
FOUNDER DNA
Customer Obsession
You care more about customers than code elegance. You will spend 30% of your time talking to users, understanding their pain, and building exactly what they need. You ship fast, iterate daily, and let customer feedback drive the roadmap.
Thrives in Chaos
You thrive in ambiguity. There is no roadmap, no spec, just a problem and paying customers. You figure it out by talking to users and shipping. You don't need hand-holding. You don't need a VP of Engineering. You are the VP of Engineering.
Moves at Startup Speed
You ship weekly. You iterate daily. You think in decades. You understand that speed is a competitive advantage. You have debugged production outages at 3am and shipped fixes before sunrise. You move fast and don't break things because you build right the first time.
Global Mindset
You are globally minded. We are building for the world, not one market. You are fluent in English (written and spoken). You will be on customer calls, investor pitches, podcasts, and conference stages.
THE BAR
You have built something from zero that customers paid for.
You have hired engineers better than you.
You have debugged production outages at 3am and shipped fixes before sunrise.
You don't need a VP of Engineering. You are the VP of Engineering.
You're not here to learn startup life. You're here to build the next $10B company.
